Lake George, New York
Campground: I cannot remember the name of it and can’t seem to find any documentation/receipts from the trip.
Campground Comments: Some campsites (like ours) were right on a lake (not Lake George) and there were a lot of bugs. Our campsite was also far away from the bath houses, but they were kept clean.
Vacation Comments: In Lake George, Chris and I played miniature golf and visited Fort McHenry (there wasn’t much else to do there - very resort like). Prospect Mountain was incredible, it had three overlooks before we took a tram to the top (the view was breathtaking). We also ventured out to the Great Escape Amusement Park, it was geared more for very young kids (the rides were very tame), and was slightly disappointing to us thrill-seekers.
Special Attractions:Adirondack Park, Fort Ticonderoga
