Which Uncle Jeff Is That Again?

This morning we were supposed to make an appearance at Angelina’s Christening, instead we took a nap before Chris’s brother Jeff came over. He was in town for the day and decided to spend some time with us. We barely got dressed and straightened the house before Jeff showed up.

Poor Aiden was not in a good mood when he woke up from his nap and gave me some trouble while I was feeding him lunch. I felt bad for Jeff as Aiden cried when he tried to hold him or play with him. We went to Alfonso’s Pizzaria for lunch and Aiden perked up and was well bahaved while we ate. Could have been the bread, snacks and juice cup we kept putting in front of him. It was getting close to nap time again so we headed back home and all of us just chilled out.

After Aiden woke from his nap he didn’t have any problem showing Jeff all his toys. Sometimes Aiden just needs time to warm up to someone he doesn’t see that often, but he didn’t waste time once he did. It was a nice visit all around, even though it was low key. I don’t think any of us minded that as we all seemed to need some down time. I wouldn’t have minded another nap myself though.
