For the Love of Sleep!
Does anyone out there, anyone, have any suggestions, ANY, on how to make teeth come in faster???
The cranky level in this household has reached heights that are off the scale. I am not sleeping, Aiden is not sleeping and it is always on the evening I need to get lots of rest as I will be out late tonight teaching at the college. Chris and I were up late last night and Aiden wakes me up bright and early before 6 am thinking that it is play time. I persuaded him to go back to sleep, somewhat successfully, but no sooner crawled back into bed to have Chris’s alarm buzz in my ear. I literally was in bed for less than 10 minutes before the alarm went off, then I realized I needed to get Chris’s lunch ready. Please do not confuse my ranting as complaining about the tasks, it’s more about the lack of sleep while trying to perform them properly.
Yesterday I tried desperately to grade during every nap. I would no sooner straighten up the kitchen or the living room and head off to grade when I would hear the dreaded cries of a hurting child. No amount of Tylenol can appease his sore gums. His naps were much shorter than usual which leads me to believe that he is either outgrowing naptime or his teeth are slowing torturing him.
Today, his morning nap did allow me to finish grading with plenty of time to clean - YAY! I guess that means he is not outgrowing his naps. Well, I’m off to make, serve and eat lunch. Happy Wednesday to all!
