My iPod!

Well, Aiden has been doing really well with his speaking. He can repeat new words after one or two times of hearing them. Unfortunately for us that means that he is asserting his independence through his words extremely well. For instance…

It has come to our attention that Aiden”needs” things now. “I NEED THAT!” is now a standard phrase that he utters when he feels he is being treated unfairly. We had to purchase a new iPod due to the hard drive dying in the old one. Well, Aiden likes electronic gadgets (wonder where he got that from) and has taken to the iPod rather quickly. Not only does he “need” the iPod, but he also wants to have the headphones all to himself so no one else can enjoy it. So, now, instead of us listening to the same song over and over and over in the car, we get to listen to the radio because someone has confiscated the iPod.

I’m still trying to decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I’ll keep you posted.
